The Portland Phoenix play a local game!
It is rare for this traveling women’s hockey team to play a local game, but they did. It was a lot of fun and my last hockey game for a little bit. I am undergoing a treatment for skin cancer and that will stop me from playing for a couple of months. I already miss playing! I played with some wonderful women and they are the greatest!

March is Who Has The Best Looking Kids!
Here is a great and fun chance to help and possibly win some prizes! Interested! Good, here are the details. Between March 1 2009 and March 28, call and book your session for your Newborn to 13 year old kid or kids. For a $15.00 fee, then a can of food for the food drive, we will photograph your child/children. How is that? Not only that, should you decide to purchase any of the images, your $15.00 will be applied to your order!
The age groups are:
Newborn to 12 months
One year to three year olds
Over three to six years
Over 6 to 13 years.
Online voting will occur to determine the winner in each age category. Winners will receive a 16×20 print ( value of $150.00)
Winners will be announced by May 31st 2009
Playing Ice Hockey in Wenatchee WA
Went to Wenatchee WA over last weekend to play in the “Kiss My Ice” women’s ice hockey tournament. Had a lot of fun and met some new ladies to skate with. We had an awesome team and great players.

Nothing like a day of snow skiing!
Ah, skiing is a lot of fun. Sadly, not enough time and of course skiing has gotten so expensive. In college, the ski resorts would do student rates and you could ski for ten dollars. Of course to a starving college student, that was a lot of money.

Had a chance to experiment with some edgy lighting techniques, a lot of fun with some really cool results. Just need a little smoke to go with it!
What a night for hockey!
Kristi plays ice hockey. I started skating in 2001 when a girlfriend and I were attending a hockey game. There was an advertisement asking if women wanted to learn to play hockey. So we decided to give it a try. I am getting a little better but have a lot to learn still. We were playing a team from Eugene, great game and ended in a 2-2 tie!
